The Department provides training in history of medicine at every level.

The Part II (third-year), Part III (fourth-year) and MPhil courses allow students to specialise largely in history of medicine or learn a little medical history to complement other interests in history, philosophy and sociology of science and technology. We offer PhD supervision in a very wide range of fields.

For more information on courses, see undergraduate study and postgraduate study.

For information on funding, including Wellcome doctoral studentships, see funding for postgraduate students.
