Developing anti-racist healthcare in the NHS
Supervisors

Outline
I am an NHS doctor and philosopher working in the area of antiracist medicine. My thesis is structured around two main issues: “How does race/ethnicity relate to health?” and “What underlying principles may help in understanding how the NHS ought to address the health needs of minoritised ethnic/racial groups?” I am exploring these issues with the aim of answering the question: "How can the use of ethnic/racial categorisation be used by the NHS and UK government to help improve healthcare?”
I am keen to work with fellow academics and healthcare professionals interested in antiracist medicine, as well as healthcare, government and educational institutions, so please get in touch if you want to chat more.
