Amelia is a writer and researcher interested in histories of environmental knowledge. Her thesis work investigates episodes in the measuring, mapping, and modelling of Antarctica's ice sheets. She is also co-organizer of the CRASSH research network on 'Remote Sensing: Ice, Instruments, Imagination' (2022-2023).
