Introduction to examiners' reports

Please note that all undergraduate submitted work and examination scripts are marked anonymously; in fact all HPS examinations are blind double marked, and supervisors are prohibited from marking coursework they have supervised.

The Department appoints an external examiner for each part of the exams. This person performs an adjudicatory and moderating function and also ensures that the standards are commensurate with other courses at the same level in other universities.
