Organised groups are very welcome to visit the museum. We ask that all groups must contact the Museum in advance to book a time slot.
To ensure that there is sufficient space in the galleries and that enough staff are available to help you, please email the museum at .
Due to space considerations, groups are limited to 20 people at once. Larger parties are required to split into two or more groups and visit the museum separately. Unfortunately we have no waiting areas available, but there are many nearby University museums [http://www.cam.ac.uk/museums/]that can be visited by groups while waiting for their turn.
Please note that we have limited toilet facilities. The closest public toilets are located at Lion Yard.
Although the Whipple Museum does not charge, we would appreciate donations. This can be done on-line: please click here [http://www.alumni.cam.ac.uk/giving/nonschool.php?pr810lpojej9uq9n9s73t9nkf5&id=6]to go to the Cambridge University Fundraising Campaign website.
Please be aware that the Whipple Museum is part of a working University teaching department. When entering and exiting the Museum please be considerate to staff and students who may be working close by. Please help us by keeping noise and disturbance to a minimum.
