Wellcome Lecture

'Eugenic sterilization in California: from demographic analysis to digital storytelling', the Twelfth Cambridge Wellcome Lecture in the History of Medicine, will be given by Alexandra Minna Stern (University of Michigan) on Thursday 24 November 2016. Professor Stern will also lead a workshop on the historical genealogy of the 'gay gene' earlier on the same day.

Seminars in HPS

History of Medicine Seminars meet during Michaelmas and Lent full terms. The 'Generation to Reproduction' seminars and reading group explore topics in the area of our Wellcome Trust strategic award. Medical history also features in the Departmental Seminars, Cabinet of Natural History, Twentieth Century Think Tank and other series. For details, see the seminar programme.

Past events
